This compact basil is small and easy to trim to shape like a Bonsai. It can be grown in the garden or inside on a sunny windowsill or bright spot on the counter. This easy to grow Basil forms a uniform rounded globe shape and looks fabulous in a container. Trim the tips of the plant to maintain its shape and prevent flowering. The leaves are smaller than traditional varieties and are often used whole in recipes or garnishes. Use as you would any other Basil, leaves can be used in pesto, tomato dishes, dried or frozen in olive oil for later use.
