Lavandula heterophylla
Sweet Lavender is named for the sweet fragrance it produces. The tall spears of purple/lavender flowers above the grey green evergreen needle like foliage make this an attractive addition to the garden. Aromatic purple/lavender flowers appear from early summer to early fall. Butterflies are attracted to the long fragrant flower spikes. Lavender has been a garden favorite for years and the flowers can be cut and dried for potpourri and sachets. Hardy in zones 5-9
