This unique, dark green stem broccoli starts out like regular crown broccoli but continues to produce side shoots after harvesting the crown. Cut the central crown when it’s about an inch in diameter and side shoots will begin to grow. In about 10 days 6-8” side shoots will be ready to harvest. Cut side shoots and new ones will appear. Expect 10-20 side shoots in addition to the central crown. It has tender texture to the base of the stem. The growth habit of this variety gives an extra-long growing season.
