Popular jumbo-sized globe shaped, golden-brown skinned onion that can reach up to one pound. A slice of the creamy white mild flavored flesh adds sweetness and crunch to a burger or sandwich. This onion stores well for use in hearty winter dishes. Plant by pushing bulb 1-2 ‘ below the soil, if the tops are too long rim to about 4 inches. Pull young onions for bunching or let mature until the onion tops yellow and fall over. Harvest the mature onions and store in a dry airy place to cure.
