An early maturing variety Baron has a big harvest of
bright red blocky peppers with thick walls. Plant produces a versatile 4 long, 3 ½" wide sweet bell
pepper that matures from green to red. You can harvest the crispy, sweet, delicious pepper while still green, but it gets sweeter and more flavortul if allowed to turn red. Use this tasty pepper raw, red or green, to add color and crunch to pasta, chicken or tossed salads. Add to cooked disnes or stir fries or stuff with meat and rice for a one dish meal. Serve cut up pepper slices with a dip for a snack or appetizer. To harvest gently cut the pepper stem, avoid twisting it to remove.
