Similar to the traditional red cayenne chili pepper in chape and size, Golden Cayenne is a smooth 4-6” long golden color pepper. This attractive pepper has the same slim, tapered and slightly twisted shape as the red cayenne but matures from green to golden yellow. Because it gets hotter as it grows larger, wait until maturity to harvest to get full heat. Enjoy the kick of spice and color in salsa, hot sauces and cooked dishes, or dry and grind into an attractive chili powder to use alone or part of a blend.
