Megatron produces extra-large pepper pods that average four and half inches long and weigh three ounces. Strong, compact, stocky plants that produce such high yields of Jalapenos that the plant looks like the branches will break or the plant will fall over. Peppers can be harvested earlier than other varieties. They can be picked when green but are hottest and slightly sweeter when they turn red and are fully ripe. The large size of Megatron makes it a great choice for Poppers and stuffed or smoked jalapenos.
