Mixteco

All America Selections Winner. This pepper is named after the Spanish Name given to groups of Indigenous people of Southern Mexico in pre-Columbian times. It is a Jalapeno type that produces high yields of peppers, sometimes as many as 50 pods to a plant at the same time. Pepper pods are large, uniform in size and have thick walls that hold their firmness till it is time to harvest. The 4-5 inch long pods are perfect for poppers, stuffing, smoking, in salsa or any dish that you would use Jalapeno peppers in.
