This creamy-white miniature pumpkin is perfect for decorating or your favorite pumpkin recipes. Casperita has the classic pumpkin shape and are two inches tall and three inches wide and weigh about half to one-pound. The skin is clean, bright white and the vines form strong green handles. When cooked the flavor of the interior reminds me of acorn squash, it is sweet and tasty smothered with butter and brown sugar. It can also be used to make pies. Harvest before the first light frost or when the pumpkin foliage begins to dry out.
