Rubus spp. 'Arapaho'
Pick large, firm tasty blackberries without getting stuck by thorns. The almost thornless stems and early berry crop makes this variety a must for the garden. Showy white flowers appear in early spring and delicious jet-black berries begin appearing as early as late spring. An abundance of berries are produced on strong upright canes that need no support. This tasty all around berry can be eaten fresh or used in jams, jellies and pies.
In late fall after harvesting prune or remove the canes which have produced fruit. Hardy Zones 4-9.
