Chandler is a June bearer of brilliant colored berries with excellent flavor. The medium to large sized berries are moderately finn, juicy and great tasting. These plants begin producing early and last well into the season.
Chandler is a heavy producer of berries that are excellent to eat and that freeze well. I often serve fresh strawberries as a healthy dessert; they are second only to blueberries in antioxidant content and have more vitamin C than any other beny.
