The sweet, tender, dark green leaves of this Genovese-style basil are extremely fragrant and full of flavor.  This compact Basil forms a small, ornamental mound perfect for containers and small spaces.  A perfect choice for pesto or caprese salads, the plant puts its energy into producing leaves not flowers producing a bigger yield.  If flowers do form, pinch them off to prevent leaves from turning bitter.
