This culinary herb has licorice-scented leaves, purple stems and pink to violet flowers in summer. Use with vegetables, stir fries, legumes, and tomato based dishes. Pinch back leaves when young for compact, full growth.
Plant in the border garden or containers in rich, well-drained soil.
