Old standard, pre 1880, open blue-green, slightly crumpled, juicy leaves. Heat and poor soil tolerant.
Great steamed or blanched in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Ideal vegetable to compliment many cooked dishes. For best results feed with a liquid or slow release fertilizer.
