This slender, elongated and often curved cucumber is also known as snake cucumber because of its long and unpredictable appearance. The skin is thin, and can range from light to dark green depending on growing conditions. Armenian Cucumbers are actually part of the melon family, but the flesh is mild, sweet, and crisp, just like a cucumber.
Can be eaten just raw, cooked or pickled, you can easily substitute it for any dish that calls for a cucumber. Can grow to 2 feet long, but best if picked between 12-18” long.
