This unique Chili has an attractive compact branching growth habit that makes it ideal for hanging baskets and containers. A heavy crop of 2-3 inch, deep purple peppers mature through cream, yellow, orange and bright red making it a colorful plant in the garden. The pungent peppers have a little less heat than habanero type peppers, mature Basket of Fire peppers have a Scoville rating of 80,000 when mature.
