This strong plant with excellent foliage cover produces high yields of 7-9" x 1.5" long banana-type peppers. Peppers have great heirloom flavor and moderate heat with a Scoville rating of 6000. Blazing Banana is an early harvesting variety and is aptly named, changing from yellow to red as it matures. Mildest when yellow it has more heat when red. It's a perfect pepper to grill or add bold flavor to salsa, soups and stews.
