Proceed with caution when trying this pepper, it will set your mouth on fire! If Ghost Chilis aren’t hot enough this is the pepper for you. Part of the ultra-hot Trinidad family of peppers, Extreme Inferno is extremely hot at 1,300,000 Scovilles. The wrinkled 2” pendant pods ripen to bright red and pack a serious heat punch.
This pepper flowers and matures later than other varieties but if you’re a hot pepper lover it’s worth the wait. Use extreme caution when handling plants and fruit, wear gloves to protect your hands from burn when harvesting, planting and using.
