Similar to Red Italian Long Hots, these long peppers have an unusual curl on the end, hence the name LongHorn. High yielding plants produce tasty, with a little extra heat, gorgeous long fruit. Peppers reach 8·10 inches and mature from green to red with a heat rating of 15,000-20,000 Scovilles. Plant can withstand intense heat and direct sun. Can be grown in a container but will need support for the large number of peppers it produces.
