Cherokee Carbon is the result of crossing the 2 classic heirloom tomatoes Cherokee Purple and Carbon.  Decades old traditional cross breeding techniques created this Heirloom tomato “marriage.”  The result is Cherokee Carbon, a robust dark purple beefsteak tomato with rich flavor that has all its parents’ cherished qualities along with earlier production, higher yields, fewer blemishes and better all-around garden performance.
